What we monitor: P11D and Class 1A NIC

How PenaltyProof monitors the 6 July P11D deadline and the 22 July Class 1A NIC payment deadline.

What we track

PenaltyProof alerts on two annual dates for practices with P11D monitoring enabled: 6 July (P11D/P11D(b) filing deadline) and 22 July (Class 1A NIC payment). These are practice-level alerts — they apply to the whole practice, not per client.

Alert stages (paid plans)

Alerts at 30, 14, 7, and 0 days before each of the two dates. Thresholds follow _P11D_THRESHOLDS in the codebase.

Configuration required

P11D alerts require the p11d_alerts_enabled flag (on by default) and must be toggled on at the practice level.

What we do not monitor

We do not track individual employee P11D submissions, payrolled benefit registrations, or whether HMRC accepted the P11D(b). We do not alert on amended P11Ds.
